About Water & Agribusiness
The Water and Agribusiness Solutions Department delivers integrated water infrastructure and agribusiness solutions, with project management and consultancy from feasibility through implementation, supervision and operational support, including EPCF delivery.
The division
Our mandate.
To design, deliver, and manage integrated water infrastructure and agribusiness solutions across the water and agriculture value chains, from technical design and cost planning through to full project delivery, while driving business development, strategic partnerships, and innovative service lines such as EPCF projects that position Samanga Utilities as a versatile and capable partner in both sectors.
The Water and Agribusiness Solutions Department at Samanga Utilities Limited delivers integrated water infrastructure and agribusiness solutions across Uganda and beyond. The department designs, plans, and manages projects spanning piped water supply systems, service reservoirs, irrigation and drip irrigation schemes, and civil construction works, taking each from technical design and bill-of-quantities analysis through to construction programming, cost planning, and full project delivery. Its technical capabilities include the production of construction programmes, cost plans, due diligence and feasibility studies, and specialised technical documentation for both domestic and international projects.
The department also drives business development and innovation, actively exploring new service lines such as delivering EPCF projects of all kinds in the water and agricultural sectors. It builds strategic partnerships with specialist engineering firms, fabricators, and water management technology providers to strengthen its solution offering and technical depth. Through this combination of engineering expertise, project management discipline, and a forward-looking approach to emerging opportunities, the Water and Agribusiness Solutions Department positions Samanga Utilities as a versatile and capable partner across the water and agriculture value chains.
