The company

From Samanga Solutions to Samanga Utilities.

Founded in 2012, Samanga has evolved from Samanga Solutions Limited into Samanga Utilities Limited, an integrated infrastructure and technology company headquartered in Kampala. The name reflects the breadth of our work across essential services.

Today we bring together engineering, digital technology, global manufacturers and local execution across digital infrastructure and communications, energy, water and agricultural solutions, and transport and mobility. We design, install, commission and maintain systems for governments, utilities and institutions in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.

Samanga Utilities Limited is a member of the Machapala Group. Our ambition is to help make infrastructure more intelligent, reliable, efficient and sustainable.

Connecting infrastructure investment with intelligent systems.

East Africa is entering an important period of infrastructure transformation. Governments, utilities and private-sector organisations are investing in energy, transport, water and digital infrastructure to improve services and unlock economic growth. At Samanga Utilities, we believe the greatest value comes from connecting these investments with intelligent systems, digital technologies and strong local execution.

Our focus is therefore broader than building infrastructure. We are working to create systems that are more connected, efficient, resilient and sustainable. As we expand across the region, we will continue investing in innovation, strategic partnerships, managed services, digital platforms, governance and operational excellence.
